What we collect, why we hold it, and how to get it removed.
Last updated 22 September 2026
This policy explains how MyStreams.in, operated by [REGISTERED ENTITY NAME], handles personal information — both for visitors to www.mystreams.in and for customers using our streaming service. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than legal boilerplate.
1. What we collect from this website
The enquiry form is the only place this website asks for personal information. When you submit it we collect the name, email address, phone number, plan interest and message you type in, along with the time of submission.
That is all. This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies, embeds no tracking pixels, and does not build a profile of you as you browse.
2. What we collect as part of the service
If you become a customer, we additionally hold your billing details, invoices and correspondence with us.
Our servers keep operational logs — connection times, IP addresses, bitrates, error records — for your ingest and for viewer requests to your stream. These are what let us diagnose a fault and produce your viewership and bandwidth figures.
We do not record or store the content of your broadcasts unless you have asked us to enable recording.
3. Payment information
Card numbers, UPI IDs and bank credentials are handled by our payment provider and never reach our servers. We see only the outcome of a payment, the amount and a reference — enough to raise an invoice and issue a refund.
4. Why we hold it
Enquiry details: to answer your enquiry and quote for the service you asked about.
Account and billing details: to provide the service, invoice you, and meet our tax and accounting obligations.
Server and viewer logs: to keep the service running, investigate faults and abuse, produce your analytics, and protect the network's security.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
5. Who else sees it
We share personal information only with parties who need it to deliver the service:
- Our payment provider, to take payment and process refunds
- Our infrastructure and data centre providers, who host the servers your data sits on
- Professional advisers such as our accountant, where required
- Law enforcement or a court, where we receive a valid legal order
6. Viewers of your stream
When someone watches a stream we host, our servers necessarily process their IP address and request details in order to deliver the video, and count them in your viewer figures.
For that data you are the one deciding why it is collected, and we process it on your behalf. If you operate a site or app that embeds our player, telling your viewers about this in your own privacy notice is your responsibility.
7. How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become customers: up to 12 months, then deleted.
Customer accounts and correspondence: for the life of the account and 12 months after it closes.
Invoices and financial records: 8 years, as Indian tax law requires.
Server and viewer logs: typically 30 to 90 days, except where a specific fault or abuse investigation requires us to keep a record longer.
8. Your rights
You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, or delete it where we have no continuing legal reason to keep it. You can also withdraw consent for us to contact you.
Email dureshtech@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity first — we will not hand over account data to someone who cannot show the account is theirs.
Note that we cannot delete records we are legally obliged to retain, such as issued invoices.
9. Security
Traffic to this website and to your control panel is encrypted in transit. Access to customer data is limited to the people who need it to do their job.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach occurs that affects your personal information, we will tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires, and explain what happened and what we are doing about it.
10. Children
This service is sold to businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has supplied us with information, tell us and we will remove it.
11. Grievance officer
In line with Indian law, complaints about how we handle personal information can be addressed to our Grievance Officer:
[GRIEVANCE OFFICER NAME], [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. Email: dureshtech@gmail.com.
We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days.
12. Changes
We will post any update here and change the date at the top. Where a change materially affects how we use your information, we will email you about it rather than relying on you to notice.
